Officer with StudentsWe are pleased to announce that Gove Elementary celebrated National Law Enforcement Day on January 9, 2020. This day is celebrated across the country each year to show support for all law enforcement officers. Officers of every position have chosen a profession that puts their life in danger every day for their communities. Gove Elementary has an amazing school police officer who goes above and beyond to keep the school safe. His name is Lazaro Creagh. Officer Creagh is originally from Clewiston, Florida and is a former officer from Charlotte, North Carolina and Palm Springs, Florida. He came to Gove in May of 2019. He is a father of two boys, ages 21 and16, and a 9-year-old daughter. This is his first year working for the Palm Beach County School District. Officer Creagh will share his previous knowledge and experience to help secure our school. The teachers, students, parents and staff are very pleased to have such a qualified officer join our school.
